Abstract 1. Method for improving the pressure dependence of the burn-off behaviour of solid fuels or barrel weapon propellants which contain nitrocellulose and other monomeric or polymeric nitro or nitrate compounds, resp., as well as stabilizers and other additives as well as metals or metal compounds as burn-off influencing component, characterized in that the propellant is homogeneously distributed in a liquid and that then the metals or metal compounds are precipitated by chemical or physical precipitation on the nitrocellulose and the other solid monomeric or polymeric nitro or nitrate compounds, resp., and that thereafter the normal processing is carried out.
