Summary: | The unexposed film is pulled through a cutting station in which the film is aligned along one edge and is punched with markings of equal size and regulard spacing. The cutter has an automatic feed, with the all the process stations and film drive in a horizontal line between input slot to exit slot. The transport rollers and cutters are lifted during threading, by being coupled to a single lifting control. The lifting control has cable drive (19) linked to hand lever (37). The cable separates the drive rollers at each end of the machine, as well as the alignment rollers (24, 26). The film is threaded without any scratch marks. |
