Summary:Changeable indicator arrangement comprises several prismatic indicator-shield-drums which are coupled by means of a tracking bar to a step adjusting turning mechanism through a given angle in the form of a maltese drive but which has a pair of tooth wheels for more sensitive control. A rotation of 90 deg. of the Maltese cross produces the usual change of direction of 45 deg. of the tracking bar. A coupling with an eccentric drive is not necessary since the bar does not emerge from its plane upon turning. However, it is easy to mount the indicator board on its own carriage or a square roller.
