Abstract | The machine includes upper and lower guide units (118, 109) provided on the upper and lower sides of a workpiece (25) and containing wire guides for guiding a wire electrode (119). Feeder dies (33) are provided in inner portions of the guides and adapted to contact the wire electrode (119) so as to supply an electric current. Inner and outer nozzles (50, 63) are provided in at least one guide. A first piping system (74a, 74b) supplies a processing liquid to the inner nozzle (50). A second piping system (40a) provided independently of the first piping system (74a, 74b) is adapted to supply the processing liquid to the outer nozzle (63). A first cooler (76) is adapted to cool the processing liquid which is supplied to the inner nozzle (50) through the first piping system (74a, 74b), and a second cooler (77) is adapted to cool the processing liquid which is supplied to the outer nozzle (63) through the second piping system (40a), the processing liquid the temperature and pressure of which are lower and higher respectively than those of the processing liquid from the outer nozzle (63) being ejected from the inner nozzle (50) toward the workpiece (25). |
