Abstract The arrangement influences at least one of the parameters ignition timing, fuel quantity or injection timing depending on operating parameters. The current position of the engine block (10) is determined and the change in drive torque demanded by the driver is extended in time in a controlled manner so that the engine block moves rapidly between two end stops but is braked near the end stops Vorgeschlagen wird eine Einrichtung zum Steuern des Antriebsmoments einer Brennkraftmaschine über eine Beeinflussung wenigstens einer der Größen Zündzeitpunkt, Kraftstoffmenge oder Einspritzzeitpunkt abhängig von Betriebskenngrößen, wobei die aktuelle Position des Brennkraftmaschinenblockes bestimmt und die vom Fahrer gewünschte Änderung des Antriebsmomentes im zeitlichen Verlauf derart ergänzend gesteuert wird, daß sich der Brennkraftmaschinenblock zwischen den beiden Anschlägen schnell bewegt, im Bereich der Anschläge jedoch abgebremst wird.
