Summary: | Radio data system (RDS) receiver (10) has reception antennae (14) connected over an antenna switching system (12). The switching system is connected to an RDS processor via a control line (36). An interface (34) evaluates the control commands of RDS processor. The antenna switching system comprises HF switching units (22,24,26,28) corresponding to each reception antenna. The switching units are connected to RDS processor via the interface and control line. At least one switching unit is either a coax relay or a PIN diode HF switch. The control line transmits different current values, e.g. 0 mA, 2 mA, 4 mA, 6 mA, as switching commands to the switching system. An Independent claim is also included for a radio reception system operating method.
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Rundfunkempfangssystem (100) mit einem Radio-Daten-System-Rundfunkempfänger (RDS-Rundfunkempfänger 10) mit einem RDS-Prozessor (12) und mehreren, mit dem RDS-Rundfunkempfänger (10) über ein Antennenumschaltsystem (12) verbundene Empfangsantennen (14). Hierbei ist das Antennenumschaltsystem (12) zum Ausführen von Umschaltoperationen von einer Empfangsantenne (14) zu einer anderen Empfangsantenne (14) über eine Steuervorrichtung (36, 34) direkt mit dem RDS-Prozessor (16) verbunden. |
