The tool is replaceable and interchangeable and is coupled to the pump solely through a flexible pipe (5) for supplying the pressure-biased fluid. The drive (3) is coupled to the pump (4) by a rotary joint (7) whereby the tool (6) can rotate or swivel with the pipe and pump relative to the drive. The tool can be a breaker unit (6) for opening steel doors comprising a body (10) containing a movable piston, a pair of breaker jaws (20) mounted on the body for swivelling between a closed position where the jaws adjoin one another and an open position there whey are spread out, and also a wedge (15) supported by a piston rod extending out of the piston. The jaws can have a pair of rollers.
