Summary:An interference suppressor for the ignition circuit of an IC engine fits over the spark-plug and has a resistance winding between the plug and the high-tension cable. The winding is integral with the body of the plastic cap. The contact for the end of the spark-plug is a snap fitting, pressed into a hole in the end of the cap and is electrically connected to the winding. There is also a rivet or screw connection and a further similar connection between the winding and the cable. A ferrite material is used for the plastic cap and/or the additional casting around the winding.
