The container has a base plate (2) with right angled sidewalls (4), a rear wall (3) and a front wall (5). The compartment has a catch (10) on its open side. There can be a tensioned flexible strap (11) between the sidewalls. Ablage und Dachkonsole (13) für die Dachmontage bei Kraftfahrzeugen, umfassend einen Grundkörper (15) mit mindestens einer Aussparung (14), sowie mindestens ein in der Aussparung (14) angebrachtes und aus dieser ausschwenkbares und kastenförmiges Ablagefach (1), umfassend eine Grundplatte (2) mit senkrecht aufgestellten Seitenwänden (4), einer Rückwand (3) und einer Frontwand (5), wobei das Ablagefach (1) auf der offenen Seite mit einer Auffangvorrichtung (10) ausgestattet ist.
