Abstract The cooling- or freezing device has a component and one or multiple optical fibers (20,30,40) integrated into the component. A lamp is provided, by which light is fed into the optical fibers. The component consists of plastic and is the component of the inner container of the device. The optical fibers are designed such that they do not break during the deformation of the component or the optical fibers extend over the entire component or only above a portion of a region. The connection between the optical fibers and the component is formed in gap-free and water-tight manner. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a plate for manufacturing the inner containers for the cooling- or freezing device; and (2) a method for manufacturing a component of a cooling- or freezing device. Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Kühl- und/oder Gefriergerät mit wenigstens einem Bauteil, wobei ein oder mehrere Lichtleitfasern in das Bauteil integriert sind und dass wenigstens ein Leuchtmittel vorgesehen ist, mittels dessen Licht in die Lichtleitfasern eingespeist wird oder einspeisbar ist.
