The embroidery machine has rotatable oscillating driven soutache wheels (6) that are provided with recess for the passage of the embroidery needle (3). The eccentric arranged recess (9) is arranged for the passage of a soutache thread (10). The guide elements (18,30) are arranged on the front of soutache wheel so that the recess for the passage of the soutache thread are surrounded partially and guide for soutache yarn are extended towards yarn before passing through the recess in the soutache wheel.
