The present invention relates to a pocket (1) serving for storage of objects in an automobile luggage compartment, being attached therein substantially horizontally and being formed by two bands (2, 3) being coupled to each another on their circumferential edges. The upper band (3) is made of meshwork while the bottom band (2 of impervious material, and fastening means (7) are attached to the bottom band (2), only. Connection of the upper band (3) with the bottom band (2) is firm on one circumferential edge (6) while on the other circumferential edges it is ensured by means of a continuous slide fastener (4) having two sliders (5, 5 ) and enabling during complete opening to lift off the upper band (3) and to use the bottom band (2) only as a protective pad. The lifted off upper band (3) can be attached vertically by fastening means (8, 8 ) forming so a partition between the passenger and luggage compartments.
