Summary:Pharmaceutical products for promoting wound healing comprise a carrier for covering wounds and injuries having an H-1 and/or H-2 receptor-blocking antihistamine as active ingredient e.g. cimetidine or ranitidine and, if desired, other pharmaceutically acceptable additives. The product is prepared by treating a solid, suitably porous, carrier with a solution containing 0.1 to 50% by weight of the active ingredient.
