The utility model relates to an actuating device, in particular to a manpower tricycle chain-actuation device, which comprises a driving chain wheel equipped on the central axle of the vehicle frame and a big fly wheel and a small fly wheel equipped on the rear axle, wherein the output axle of the driving chain wheel is equipped with an acceleration device whose output axle is equipped with a big chain plate. The vehicle frame between the big chain plate and the big and the small fly wheels are equipped with a small chain plate, and the vehicle frame between the small chain plate and the big and the small flywheel is equipped with an adjustment device comprised by a torsion spring and two small chain wheels of equal amount. The driving chain wheel is connected with the actuating chain wheel through a driving chain, and a speed variation chain is utilized to connect the big chain plate and the small chain plate, and the adjustment device and the big and the small flywheels. Comparing with the prior art, this actuating device multiplicates the driving power by the adoption of rotation with two chains driving the tricycle, and thereby having the advantages of labor saving and fast riding.
