Summary:A wide vocal range xun comprises a xun body and sound holes at the front side and the back side and a play hole at the top. The length of the xun body is increased. The top of the xun body is equipped with a ring catch whose outer edge is connected with the inner side of the xun body. The utility model is in a gourd shape with the lengthened xun body, thereby the sound holes can be arranged under the middle line, providing the necessary conditions of widening the vocal range. The air flow enters the upper body through the play hole, and first hits the ring catch plate, then falls down after passing through the center hole of the catch plate. Thereby the air flow is slowed down and capable of passing through sound holes smoothly. The noise is reduced and the sound of the added sound holes is clean and easy, thereby the vocal range of the xun is effectively broadened.
