A full-automatic folding sail comprises wheels, a chassis, a centre shaft, a rotary platform, a folding mast, a sail, a motor, a computer, and guide rails, wherein the wheels are arranged on every stand bars of the chassis, the centre shaft is connected with the chassis and the center of the rotary platform, the motor is arranged on the centre shaft, two sides of the rotary platform is welded with a plurality of folding masts on which the sail is positioned, the computer is connected with the motor, the guide rails are installed outside of shipboards or at two sides of a deck, the chassis bestriding a ship body is displaced on the guide rails, which causes the wheels to move forward and backward on the guide rails along two sides of a ship. The full-automatic folding sail has the advantages that the folding and unfolding thereof is free, no person is needed for operation, the folding sail is not limited by wind directions, and the utilizing efficiency of wind power is enhanced.
