The utility model relates to a high strength gypsum producing apparatus, comprising a horizontal cylindrical kettle. Both ends of the kettle is provided with kettle lids. The kettle is provided with a heat exchanger inside. An inlet water distribution tube and an outlet water distribution tube for a water circulating system are arranged in a radial direction in the kettle, and a water pump is used for water circulation through in the kettle. A distribution tube for steaming and curing is arranged in a radial direction in the kettle. The kettle is provided with water inlet interface, a water outlet interface, a condensate outlet, a safety interlock mechanism and a liquid level indicator. The lower part of the kettle is provided with a track for a stack pallet. Therefore, the device can sufficiently hydrolyze ores, and has the advantages of simple structure, easy maintenance, quick heating speed, and capacity of producing high grade gypsum.
