Abstract The utility model relates to an arc-extinguishing device of the zero-flashover areas of air breakers, which is composed of a heightened arc-extinguishing chamber, an increased arc-extinguishing chamber and an arc-extinguishing insulating board (6) which is arranged on an upper space. The dimensions of the lower housing (2) of the arc-extinguishing chamber and an arc-extinguishing metal gate piece (4) are both higher than the corresponding components of the existing arc-extinguishing chamber of breakers. The height of the arc-extinguishing metal gate piece (4) achieves the top part of the upper housing (3) of the arc-extinguishing chamber. Thereby, arc-extinguishing distance indoors is enlarged. The arc-extinguishing insulating board (6) installed on the frame (1) of a breaker through a metal support board (7) is used for blocking an extreme weak flashover (in fact no flashover basically) which can fly out of the arc-extinguishing insulating cover board (5) of the top part of the upper housing (3) of the arc-extinguishing chamber. Thereby, a space above the top surface of an air breaker is ensured to become a zero-flashover area.
