Abstract | A bridge damping device based on TMD comprises a main beam (1) and is characterized in that a main beam bottom plate (4) is arranged at the bottom of the main beam (1), one or more mass blocks (2) are arranged at the end, close to a bridge tower, of the main beam bottom plate (4), and a rail (5) or a rolling groove is fixed to the upper surface of the main beam bottom plate (4); the mass blocks (2) are installed on the rails (5) or the rolling grooves through rolling devices or low-friction sliding devices, the two ends of each mass block (2) are connected with the main beam transverse partition plate (3) through springs (8), and every two adjacent mass blocks (2) are connected through springs (8). The mass block playing a weight effect of the suspension bridge is fully utilized and is connected with the spring to form the TMD damping system, so that a very good energy dissipation and shock absorption effect can be achieved, the investment is saved, and the service life of the damping system is prolonged.
