Abstract The utility model relates to the technical field of switching power supply transformers, and discloses a glue connection structure of a transformer and the transformer with the glue connection structure. A magnetic core of the transformer is at least provided with a core column used for being sleeved with a coil, and the glue connection structure is only formed by hard glue and is only arranged on the core column. The utility model creatively provides a new dispensing mode, namely, only dispensing the hard glue on the core column of the magnetic core. Therefore, a novel glue connection structure is formed in the transformer, compared with the previous scheme that soft glue is dispensed on the core column of the magnetic core and hard glue is dispensed on the side leg, the novel glue connection structure abandons the scheme that glue is dispensed at multiple positions, and the situation that the magnetic core bears large stress due to the fact that glue is dispensed at multiple positions and thermal expansion
