The device comprises a shielding box, a test box and an electric control box which are sealed in the shielding box, an upper coil, a lower coil and a carrier which are arranged in the test box, and an electric control device which is arranged in the electric control box, the electric control device is electrically connected with the upper coil, the lower coil and the carrier; an analog magnetic field can be formed between the electrified upper coil and the electrified lower coil; the carrier is arranged in the testbox in an inclined manner; the induction center of the electronic compass clamped in the carrier is positioned at the central position of the simulated magnetic field; and the magnetic field directionof the simulated magnetic field is changed along with the change of the current direction in the upper coil and the lower coil, so that the test of the indication function of the electronic compass in the south and north pole |
