A supporter for building construction comprises a bottom plate and a top plate. Two lead screws are fixed on the upper surface of the bottom plate vertically through bearings, gears are arranged on the two lead screws, a chain is arranged on the gears, a driven belt pulley is arranged on one of the lead screws and is connected with a driving belt pulley on a motor through a belt, a shaft sleeve with an internal thread is arranged at the upper end of each lead screw, and the top end of each shaft sleeve is connected with the lower surface of the top plate. The supporter for building construction has the advantages that since the top plate can ascend or descend by means of cooperation between the lead screws and the shaft sleeves, the supporter can guarantee that a constructor can be positioned at an optimal construction position all the time, physical power of the constructor is saved and construction efficiency is improved.
