An electronic medicine box comprises a box body, a cover plate, return springs and an electromagnetic lock, wherein the box body is provided with an inlet; the first end of the cover plate is pivoted with the first side of the inlet of the box body through a rotating shaft; a lock tongue is arranged at the second end of the cover plate in a protruding way; the return springs are arranged between the cover plate and the box body, and generally drive the second end of the cover plate to rise to leave the box body; the electromagnetic lock is mounted on the box body; a plunger latch protrudes out of the electromagnetic lock; when the second end of the cover plate covers the inlet of the box body, the plunger latch can extend into the lock tongue of the cover plate, so that the cover plate cannot be lifted up. Therefore, the electronic medicine box provided by the utility model can effectively avoid the situation that a medical worker opens a wrong electronic medicine box and takes wrong medicines, thereby ensuring medication security; the electronic medicine box is novel and has industrial applicability.
