Summary: | The utility model provides a plate type electromagnetic brake. The plate type electromagnetic brake structurally comprises an armature, a yoke and a manual operation brake-releasing device connected to the armature and the yoke in a penetrating mode, electromagnetic coils used for attracting the armature and brake springs used for supporting the armature open are embedded in the yoke, fixed edges protruding out of the contact face are arranged on the upper end edge and the lower end edge of the contact face, matched with the armature, of the yoke respectively, and the front end faces of the fixed edges are planes used for being matched with a motor installing face and used for being fixedly connected with the motor installing face directly or through gaskets when the brake is fixedly installed. The fixed edges serve as own supporting and limiting structures of the brake, so that the plate type electromagnetic brake is not in a suspended state any more after being connected with a motor, it can be avoided that in the braking process, as the shearing force exerted on the suspended brake is too large, hollow bolts are shorn off, or fixed bolts are loosened or expanded to cause a brake failure of an elevator, and the reliability and the safety of the elevator brake can be greatly improved. |
