Abstract The utility model discloses a vertical high-power frequency-variable brake resistor cabinet. The vertical high-power frequency-variable brake resistor cabinet comprises a cabinet body, a resistor branch cabinet, a transition air duct and a draught fan. The draught fan is connected with the resistor branch cabinet through the transition air duct. A supporting frame is arranged on the upper middle portion in the cabinet body. The resistor branch cabinet is arranged above the supporting frame. The transition air duct and the draught fan are arranged below the supporting frame. An air inlet passageway is reserved between the draught fan and the bottom of the cabinet body. The cabinet body comprises a cabinet body framework, a side cover plate, a rear cover plate, a front left door, a front right door and a net shield plate. By means of the vertical high-power frequency-variable brake resistor cabinet, the power of a brake resistor is greatly improved, the belt type is adopted for the resistor, the resistor is quite thin, the thickness of the resistor is smaller than or equal to 2 mm, and the heat dissipation effect is quite good. The brake resistor is vertical, the supporting frame is arranged on the cabinet body framework, the whole device is tightly connected together, the resistor branch cabinet, the transition air duct, the draught fan and the like are all placed in the cabinet body, and the structure is quite compact. The vertical high-power frequency-variable brake resistor cabinet is simple in structure, wiring and daily maintenance and repair are convenient, and appearance is attractive.
