The utility model relates to a silencer comprising a tee joint, an elbow, a silencer body, an exhaust pipe, a flame retardant pipe, a counterweight, a flame retardant cover and a fire-prevention pipe. One end of the tee joint is connected with the elbow, the other two connection ports are of round structures, the other end of the elbow is connected with the horizontal silencer body, the other end of the silencer body is connected with the flame retardant pipe through the exhaust pipe, the top end of the flame retardant pipe is hinged to the flame retardant cover which is connected with the counterweight through a screw rod, the upper portion of the flame retardant pipe is connected with the fire-prevention pipe, and a water outlet is arranged at the bottom of the flame retardant pipe. The silencer has the advantages that the connection ports of the tee joint and a diesel engine are of the round structures, so that the silencer can be directly connected with the diesel engine, and connection strength is enhanced; the exhaust pipe is connected with the flame retardant pipe at an oblique angle, so that heat generated during secondary combustion can be discharged upwards; meanwhile, the fire-prevention pipe can feed firefighting water used for extinguishing secondary combustion, and safety of the entire silencer is improved. The flame retardant cover has rainproof and dustproof functions.
