Abstract The utility model discloses a testing fixture for detecting time angle of a gear. The testing fixture comprises a workbench, an inner bore positioning round-pin, a keyway positioning round-pin and a detection round-pin, wherein the inner bore positioning round-pin and the keyway positioning round-pin are arranged on the workbench and are respectively used for fitting with an inner bore and a keyway of a gear to be detected; and the detection round-pin is disposed on the workbench overlapping the circumference of a reference circle of the gear to be detected. The diameter d of the detection round-pin satisfies the following condition: d=E-2r*sin theta, wherein r is radius of the reference circle of the gear to be detected; E is external diameter of the detection round-pin respectively tangent to corresponding gear sides; and theta is timing angle tolerance of the gear to be detected. The testing fixture can be used as a standard component, can be used to test whether timing angle of gears is qualified in batch
