Abstract The utility model discloses a flexible packaged lithium ion battery. The flexible packaged lithium ion battery comprises a battery main body, a top sealing edge and lateral sealing edges; the battery main body comprises a battery and a battery packaging foil which covers the battery; the middle layer of the battery packaging foil is a metal layer; the lateral sealing edges are bent to form into more than one layer of folding structures; one ends of the folding structures, which are close to the battery top sealing edge, are provided with the cross section with the exposed metal layer in a trimming mode. According to the flexible packaged lithium ion battery, the cross section is trimmed at the front end of the folding structures of the lateral sealing edges, so that the metal layer of the battery packaging foil on one side or bilateral sides of the battery top sealing edge are exposed, and convenience is provided for detection of resistance between the battery packaging foil and an electrode.
