A light-emitting diode (LED) illumination unit mainly comprises a lamp panel, LEDs, a control board, control elements, wires and a suspension frame, wherein two inner suspension plates are arranged on a suspension frame top plate along the vertical direction of the suspension frame, an inner clamping groove is formed in each inner hanging plate, two ends of the control board are clamped into the clamping grooves of the two inner hanging plates respectively, and bonding pieces are attached to the suspension frame top plate. The LED illumination unit is fixed on an installation base body, and the mains power supply is led into a power source plug-in sleeve and supplies power to the LEDs on the lamp panel through the control board.
