Abstract The present utility model provides a silica gel button installing structure applied to communication equipment. The structure comprises a panel, a PCB, a touch switch and a silica gel button, the PCB is fixed on the panel, the touch switch is fixed on the PCB and arranged between the panel and the PCB; the silica gel button is a buckling structure and buckled inside a button hole of the panel, a contact column is arranged between the panel and the PCB; and the touch switch is contacted with the contact column of the silica gel button. In the silica gel button installing structure, the deformation characteristic of silica gel is utilized, the buckling silica gel button is adopted and can be conveniently and accurately assembled inside the button hole of the panel, no gap will be formed between the panel and the silica gel button, the silica gel button will not be separated from the panel when the PCB is disassembled, and assembling and disassembling of the PCB can be realized conveniently.
