Abstract | The utility model discloses a rope stopping structure for a guide wheel of an elevator, which comprises spandrel girders (1) and a rope wheel (4), wherein the rope wheel (4) is fixedly arranged on the spandrel girders (1) through a rotating shaft (6); the rope wheel (4) is provided with a shield (5); and the end parts of the shield (5) are respectively provided with a rope stopping steel angle (7) fixed on the spandrel girders (1). According to the rope stopping structure for the guide wheel of the elevator, the steel angles are respectively arranged at the end parts of the shield (5), are used for stopping a rope, and are capable of preventing a steel wire rope from jumping so as to ensure the elevator to stably run; the steel angles and the shield form a closed structure together, and thereby, hands are prevented from being gripped, and the safety of maintenance personnel is guaranteed.
