Summary:The utility model provides a single-break on-load capacitance-regulating switch. In order to accomplish a switching task of windings of a transformer when the transformer is on-load, the technical problem that an arc cannot be reliably extinguished by a high-voltage-side contact during star-delta switching is required to be solved. The single-break on-load capacitance-regulating switch is characterized by comprising two main contact connecting lines, a transition contact connecting line and a driving device, wherein a transition resistor is arranged on the transition contact connecting line and connected with a second vacuum arc extinguish chamber in series; the two main contact connecting lines comprise a delta main contact connecting line with a first vacuum arc extinguish chamber and a star main contact connecting line with a third vacuum arc extinguish chamber; and the driving device drives all vacuum arc extinguish chambers.
