Abstract | The utility model relates to a locking mechanism for an automobile hub unit, which comprises a driving shaft, wherein a hub unit flange plate is sleeved on the driving shaft, and a locking nut is arranged in a matching manner at the end part of the driving shaft on the outer side of the hub unit flange plate, wherein a nylon sleeve is arranged at the threaded tail part of the locking nut and a ring-shaped binding surface at the head part of the locking nut is an inwardly inclined plane. The locking nut of the locking mechanism is characterized in that (1) the nylon sleeve is arranged at the threaded tail part to achieve the anti-loosening effect; and (2) the binding surface is the inwardly inclined plane and during the binding process, the inwardly inclined plane can firstly fit with the outside diameter with a larger contact area, so as to reduce the axial force and be stressed uniformly, and the inwardly inclined plane can also provide a certain resilience force to avoid the reduction of torque. |
