Summary:The cable cutter consists of a trigger, a cutter and a driving bullet. The trigger consists of case, cylindrical handle with small triggering unit, striker, striker locating block, striker spring and other parts. The cutter consists of sleeve with bullet chamber and cylinder, driving piston assembly and cutter holder assembly; and cuts with its movable knife and fixed knife possessing arc edge. When the trigger is operated to trigger the driving bullet, high pressure gas is generated in the sleeve to drive the piston assembly so as to cut off the cable between the movable knife and fixed knife instantaneously. The present invention is suitable for cutting different types of cables, and the driving bullet includes a land type and a water type to make the cable cutter useable in both land and water.
