Abstract | When performing a real time system IP data communication, a radio base station (2) performs, based on transmission data basic information, an assignment of a radio resource for an upstream link so as to transmit the transmission data intensively and in synchronism with the codec period of a mobile communication terminal (1). Then, information of this assignment is transferred to the mobile communication terminal (1) as an upstream transmission schedule. The mobile communication terminal (1) controls, based on the upstream transmission schedule, the transmission of radio frames. In this way, when the mobile communication terminal (1) transmits the IP data to the upstream, the transmission to the radio transmission path is performed in accordance with the codec timing of the mobile communication terminal (1), with the result that the delay occurring in connection with the radio access is reduced and hence the transmission delay between the transmitting and receiving terminals is reduced. |
