The advantages of the invention are high production and quality. 一种软芯核以及使用该软芯核培育珍珠的方法，所述软芯核由珍珠层粉55％～70％、蜡质15％～25％、羊毛脂12％～18％和卵磷脂1％～2％组成。先将上述比例的原料混合制成直径为2mm～3mm圆形软芯核；然后将去掉内脏团、韧带的小片蚌外表皮切除色素带，然后切成片厚为0.45mm～0.55mm、大小为软芯核表面1/10～1/8的细胞小片；再将选择好的育珠蚌洗净，在其外套膜上开有创口，由此送进用细胞小片的分泌面贴住的软芯核；最后放入清水体中暂养数天后，再移入养殖水域进行吊养，按照常规方法培育管理，即完成珍珠的养殖。由于插入是软芯核，对育珠蚌的刺激小，吐核反应弱，固核率高，且珠形好；因此产量和质量高、经济效益好，是值得推广的培育技术。
