The present invention relates to a long-acting disinfectant and its preparation method. Its raw material includes 2,4,4'-trichloro-2'-hydroxydiphenyl ether, aminosilicone resin, 1,2-propyleneglycol, fatty alcohol-polyoxyethyleneether and distilled water. Its preparation method is as follows: firstly, mixing fatty alcohol-polyoxyethylenether and distilled water, in high-speed homogenizer-stirrer adding 2,4,4'-trichloro-2'-hydroxydiphenyl ether, stirring at 50-70 deg.C and melted, cooling and adding aminosilicone resin, low-speed stirring and mixing so as to obtain the invented product. It is safe and non-toxic, after two years of natural storage, its surface sterilizing rate still is up to 66%.
