Abstract | The invention provides an ascorbic acid polypeptide derivative as well as a preparation method and application thereof, and relates to the technical field of cosmetic raw material development, and the ascorbic acid polypeptide derivative is a compound represented by a general formula (1) or a salt thereof. The ascorbic acid polypeptide derivative with a brand new structure has excellent effects of VC whitening and carnosine anti-aging, and solves the problem of stability of a traditional VC structure. Cell experiments prove that the compound has good biological activity, including reduction of ROS (reactive oxygen species), promotion of production of collagen I, reduction of activity of tyrosinase and down-regulation of secretion of melanin. Under the concentration of 24.25 [mu] M, the EAC-L-carnosine can down-regulate the secretion of melanin by 27.85%, which is greater than the sum of EAC and carnosine under the same concentration.
