Abstract | The invention relates to long-service-life steel for excavator bucket teeth and a manufacturing method of the long-service-life steel. The steel for the gear comprises the following chemical components in percentage by mass: 0.34 to 0.40 percent of C, 1.20 to 1.50 percent of Si, 0.90 to 1.10 percent of Mn, 1.20 to 1.40 percent of Cr, less than or equal to 0.009 percent of P, less than or equal to 0.003 percent of S, 0.25 to 0.40 percent of Ni, less than or equal to 0.20 percent of Cu, less than or equal to 0.20 percent of Mo, 0.005 to 0.010 percent of Al, less than or equal to 0.006 percent of N, 0.010 to 0.020 percent of Ti, 0.0010 to 0.0020 percent of B, less than or equal to 0.0002 percent of H, less than or equal to 0.0006 percent of O, greater than 1 of (Ti/48 + Al/27)/(N/14) and the balance of Fe and inevitable impurities.
