Abstract | The invention discloses a variable-precision duty ratio self-adaptive adjustment frequency multiplier applied to a phase-locked loop. The variable-precision duty ratio self-adaptive adjustment frequency multiplier comprises a precision-adjustable duty ratio detection module, a duty ratio control module and a duty ratio control word decoding module. The duty ratio detection module is composed of a 256-bit time-to-digital converter and a frequency multiplication module. The TDC adopts a traditional assembly line structure. The frequency multiplication module is realized by a simple exclusive-OR gate; the duty ratio control module is composed of multiple stages of phase inverters, each stage of phase inverter is composed of a fast/slow PMOS (P-channel Metal Oxide Semiconductor) and a fast/slow NMOS (N-channel Metal Oxide Semiconductor), and the purpose of duty ratio control is achieved by controlling the combination mode of different fast/slow phase inverters to adjust signal edges.
