Abstract | The invention relates to the technical field of aircraft component testing, and discloses a fire extinguisher diaphragm backpressure testing device and method, and the device comprises a gas cylinder, an electric detonator, and a connection tool which is connected between the gas cylinder and the electric detonator and is used for simulating a fire extinguisher cavity. The connecting tool comprises a three-way piece, and the three-way piece comprises a release port used for being connected with an electric detonator, an inflation port used for being communicated with a gas cylinder and a testing port used for being connected with a pressure sensor for pressure testing. A diaphragm fixer used for fixing a diaphragm is connected in the inflation port; a distance adjusting part used for adjusting the distance between the electric detonator and the diaphragm is connected into the release opening.
