Abstract | The invention relates to the technical field of engines, in particular to a non-road engine purification and emission reduction control method and system. The method includes: acquiring a working condition signal of an engine; the ECU controls an injection device to inject fuel in the first container and/or liquid in the second container into the engine according to the working condition signal; the liquid in the second container comprises one of a solution or purified water. In the prior art, a non-road engine is easy to generate waste gas such as nitrogen oxide and the like, and air pollution particles are easy to discharge. Compared with the prior art, the fuel and the solution are mixed and sprayed into the engine, and after the solution enters the engine, the engine is cooled, so that knocking of the engine is prevented, generation of waste gas such as nitric oxide is reduced, combustion of the fuel is more sufficient, and emission of air pollution particles is reduced.
