Abstract An aerosol-generating device for generating an aerosol from an aerosol-forming substrate is disclosed. The aerosol-generating device comprises: an electrically powered heater element for heating an aerosol-forming substrate; a temperature sensor coupled to the heater element and configured to sense a temperature of the heater element; a power source configured to supply power to the heater element and the temperature sensor; and control electronics. AbstractList An aerosol-generating device for generating an aerosol from an aerosol-forming substrate is disclosed. The aerosol-generating device comprises: an electrically powered heater element for heating an aerosol-forming substrate; a temperature sensor coupled to the heater element and configured to sense a temperature of the heater element; a power source configured to supply power to the heater element and the temperature sensor; and control electronics.
