Abstract | The preparation method of the super-hydrophobic polyurethane coating for dispersing the multi-walled carbon nanotubes comprises the steps of hydrophilic treatment of the multi-walled carbon nanotubes, synthesis of a waterborne polyurethane emulsion, dispersion of the multi-walled carbon nanotubes, electrochemical preparation of the coating and low surface energy treatment of the coating, and finally the super-hydrophobic polyurethane coating for dispersing the multi-walled carbon nanotubes is obtained. After low surface energy treatment, the contact angle of the coating is larger than 150 degrees, and the rolling angle of the coating is smaller than 10 degrees. According to the method for preparing the coating through electrochemistry, the coating can be prepared on the surface of the metal substrate in any shape, limitation of the size and the shape of the substrate is avoided, and the method is suitable for substrates with planes, curved surfaces and irregular surfaces.
