Abstract | The invention provides a device monitoring method and system, and relates to the technical field of device monitoring, the device monitoring method and system are applied to monitoring agent clients running on different devices to be monitored, and the method comprises the following steps: calling a corresponding sitar dynamic library according to a framework and an operating system in the devices to be monitored; acquiring software and hardware information of the to-be-monitored equipment based on the sitar dynamic library; and pushing the software and hardware information to a monitoring platform in real time through an HTTP interface, so that the monitoring platform stores the software and hardware information in a database and displays the software and hardware information in the database. According to the invention, the universality of equipment monitoring is improved, and large-scale high-performance distributed monitoring under different architectures and different operating systems is realized.
