Abstract | The invention discloses a hydrogen phagocytosis strain with an ammonia nitrogen degradation function and application of the hydrogen phagocytosis strain. The strain is named as Hydrogenphaga sp.LJY-005, the strain is preserved in the China Center for Type Culture Collection (CCTCC for short), the preservation number of the strain is CCTCC NO: M2023302, and the preservation time of the strain is March 13, 2023. The strain can be widely applied to sewage treatment, is particularly used for treating high-ammonia-nitrogen sewage, and can coexist with indigenous microorganisms in the sewage, so that the ammonia nitrogen removal capability of the indigenous microorganisms is enhanced. The strain is a facultative autotrophic bacterium, can grow in an inorganic culture medium, can rapidly propagate in a beef extract-peptone culture medium, and has a certain industrial application prospect.
