The invention provides a claim settlement case distribution method and device. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a claim settlement request carrying claim settlement information; determining a current business link of the claim settlement request according to the claim settlement information; according to the business link and the claim settlement information, a scheduling rule corresponding to the claim settlement request is decided from a preset rule base; and according to the scheduling rule, the claim settlement information and the business link, a target claim settlement person is decided from a preset claim settlement talent pool, so that the to-be-processed claim settlement task corresponding to the business link is allocated to the target claim settlement person. In the mode, the claim settlement information comprises an insurance policy number, a case number, an insured person, an insurance applicant, insurance types, a loss report amount, an underwriting mechanism, an insurance pla
