Summary:The present invention relates to a polycarbonate composition for optical applications, which contains an aromatic polycarbonate resin (A), a polymonothiocarbonate (B) and a boric acid compound (C). The content of the polymonothiocarbonate (B) is 0.003-5 parts by mass and the content of the boric acid compound is 2-30 ppm by mass per 100 parts by mass of the aromatic polycarbonate resin (A). The polycarbonate resin composition provided by the invention has excellent test piece YI during high-temperature injection molding.
