Abstract | The invention relates to a discharge compatibility test method for an environment-friendly mixed insulating gas and a metal conductor. The discharge compatibility test method comprises the following steps: preparation of test equipment, discharge test and gas sampling, and data detection and analysis. The test equipment preparation comprises the steps of pretreatment of a discharge gas chamber and an experimental electrode, airtightness detection of an experimental tank body, and filling of insulating mixed gas and power distribution connection of an experimental circuit. The step of timing partial discharge and detection sampling comprises the substep of carrying out timing partial discharge experiments on C4F7N mixed insulating gases with different proportions.
