Abstract | The embodiment of the invention provides an automatic reading method and equipment based on terminal equipment, and is applied to the technical field of terminals. The method comprises the steps of obtaining node data of a node of a target window in a current interface of the terminal equipment by responding to a trigger instruction; according to the obtained node data of the nodes, filtering the obtained nodes to obtain to-be-processed nodes; wherein the node data of the to-be-processed node comprises text content; and reading the text content of the node to be processed. Thus, the terminal device can filter the node data of the node to obtain the node including the text content, the terminal device can read the text content of the filtered node, and a user can listen to the text content read by the terminal device, so that the user experience is improved.
